Your lies are like animal manure spreading around
Growing more foul each day
Burning me from outside in
Yet my eyes try to deceive me
They want to see something that’s make believe
They want to see you, still.
How insane can I be?
Your lies are like candy being stolen from a baby
Growing sweeter everyday
Feeding me with deliciousness
That I will never taste because you lied
You stole everything from me
My thoughts
My time
My sanity
You took them like a thief
Now, I’ve come back
No longer to be deceived
No longer to be hurt
But to regain what’s mine
Not yours
